Itinerary description
My other hike in China. Again, not my best/purest entry but I am leaving it in because there isn't that much out there.
I did this hike with my family and 3 out of 4 were dealing with some minor injury. We were smart to take the cable car up: this is not an easy hike: it's steep, and the many steps will hurt, eventually. I had fun doing this hike. It was challenging, cold (love it), the lake with the ferry was surprising and fun, the waterfall was beautiful, the many people on the path made it interesting, and the cable cars were fun too. Bring food or eat what the many, many hawkers along the path sell you.
In the village at the foot of the hill is an old guy selling delicious, strongly seasoned cakes (puff pastry) with pork meat inside. Yum.
PS I think the cable car up was measured wrongly and ended more up along the route, creating a more horizontal descend to the right from there.
