Itinerary description
A nice trail to do in the autumn season, where we pass several types of habitats.
We have encountered several types of flora: apple, juniper, maple, sorbus, oak, madrones, fungi...
We started our hike from an apple orchard, the first 7 km is a downhill hike on a dirt road with very nice panoramic views.
Then a 2 km steep downhill on a tight trail inside a dense forest, also with nice view to wadi jhanam until you reach a river and a drinkable water source.
And the final 3 km of uphil to reach the main road in michmich.
The trail is difficult to follow especially in the dense forest, so do not hike this trail without a guide. I recommend contacting akkar trail https://instagram.com/akkartrail for any hiking activity in akkar.
