Itinerary description

Galacik is located at the foot of the mountain, 30 km northwest of Ismayilli district. The population is engaged in agriculture, grain growing, tobacco growing, fruit growing and animal husbandry. There is a secondary school, a library, and a hospital in the village. There are ruins of the Gasimkhan fortress from the 9th-14th centuries on the river bank near Galacik. The village is located in the tourist zone of the same name. To see the remains of the "Gasimkhan" fortress, 5 km of the 8 km distance from the village to the fortress can be traveled by car, and 3 km on foot or on horseback.
