Qafa e Martes (Marta Pass)
At the border between the districts of Skrapar and Korçë, at an altitude of around 1823 meters, traverse mountainous roads connecting the Korçë district with that of Skrapar. It has formed at the junction of limestone with slate and has erosive origins. It is wide and gently sloping, with sparse vegetation, but numerous summer meadows. On the eastern and western sides, beech forests thrive. Many battles against foreign invaders, especially during the National Liberation War, have taken place here, and the 'Riza Cerova' Battalion was formed."
