Itinerary description
Walk from the Tahoe-Pyramid Bikeway at the south end of Pyramid Lake to the Truckee River. Mostly on desert roads to the Truckee River near the inlet to Pyramid Lake. A bit of a scramble at the end down an embankment and through a tamarisk thicket to the river (see waypoint for path). Pyramid Lake day use permit fee required.
