Itinerary description
I did this hike without a guide and without any problems.
Just bring enough water and wear rubber boots and mosquito repellent. There is one point where the trail disappears. I pushed on through the thick forest and found the trail 3 minutes later. The rest was easy. The forest is beautiful and unspoiled.
In San Martín I got lunch at Casa Gregoria (25k COP) and they also arranged a boat back to Puerto Nariño (70k COP).
