Itinerary description
This hike need a guide unless you are certified mountain guide yourself. Best starting point is Pucón where you have a few companies arranging the hikes to the top of the active volcano Villarica. In good weather conditions the hike is awesome and the feeling of standing at the rim of an active volcano is really something special. Be prepared to use crampons for the ascend.
