Itinerary description
This walk follows the kalderimi towards Platania before taking the path towards Rodia. It is easy to miss the turning. We follow a path through forest by the stream. We cross another stream and follow the narrow path uphill. After half an hour we reach an earth road and turn left. Near the summit of Mavro Oros, back mountain. Then we follow earth roads down hill. There are lovely views towards Skiathos and Skopelos. Finally we join an earth road between Lyri and Promyri. Turn left here and follow the earth road back to the starting point.
