Itinerary description
An entertaining medium-size hike. Goes up the public road to the Prodromos Dam, and then diverts to the forest road towards Kambi tou Kalogirou. Turn right down to Kambi and cross the main road. Turn immediately right and follow the forest road towards Prodromos.
Highlights: First and foremost the thick black pine forest of Prodromos! Prodromos Dam is also a beauty. Lots of wild vegitation throughout: endemic salvia, cistus, rhus, pinus brutia, and an abundance of cultivated fruit trees close to the marvellous Prodromos village. Not a typical hike, as it is on road surface, but a very much enjoyable one during early summer mornings!
