Did you hike downstream from Zhelannaya along the valley of the Balbanyu (waypoints C07 and C08)? Is this interesting? I thought the direction of the Manaraga valley would be the primary attraction? I see you walked there as well (and to Gora Narodnaya).
Yes, I did this hike detour down to Sanavozh base because we leave our kayaks there for the mountaineering part of the trip. When I return from mountains I did kayaking trip down by Bolbanju and Kojim rivers: https://www.wikiloc.com/kayaking-canoeing-trails/bolbanju-kozhym-rivers-russia-2019-38800165
I do not recommend to do this detour for fun - nothing interesting on the way (although I found some rare plants by the way) and lot of mosquito in summer time.
