Itinerary description
On 9/13/10 we hiked the Price Lake loop trail. We started at the Parking area for Julian Price Park and this trail wound its’ way around Price lake. The first section of this trail travels through the campground at the lake. It is a very flat trail and easy to traverse. Many trees have evidence of beaver activity. At the very far end of the lake there is a beaver damn with a flooded meadow as a result of the damn. Kind of interesting. The trail ends near the man-made damn that holds the water back for this lake to exist.
