Itinerary description
Small hike tour southeast of Aosta.
The hike requires the use of all four extremities at some key points.
When you start on the parking lot in Luin, the first part of the track runs over asphalt and runs twice. An entrance is also possible at the end of the paved road. However, a car must then be parked at the edge of the road.
After the asphalted part could be completed comfortably, the slope on the solid dirt road is a bit on, but is still very leisurely.
Here you meet somewhere on a waymark with the "10", which points directly to the right of a steeply rising singletrail. Here you run up serpents upwards and collects heights.
After a few kilometers two small creeks (in the summer) have to be crossed. The path here is very narrow and runs across the steeply sloping slope. Caution when crossing the mountainside trench. After overcoming these obstacles the trail is partially overgrown, but recognizable.
It is important not to miss the junction to "11a" downwards. The mark located on the far side of a small boulder right to the path in a wooded section. Here, the "10" is marked in the direction of the hiking route, and the "11a" sing is located on the valley side of the rock.
Now it runs nearly very directly downwards. At one point, the further course of the path is scarcely recognizable due to the shattered wood. The main direction in this section continues to be downwards (10 to 11 o'clock in the direction of travel).
After some time the trail ends at a small house and meets a two-lane gravel road. This is followed by the asphalted section and ends the hike as a pleasant walk.
The hike is not practicable in winter!
