Itinerary description
Starting in the village of Açoreira, by the Igreja Matriz and the old primary school, this circular trail is11.50 kms.
The initial 2.8 kms gives you a steady climb up but most of the trail is going downhill.
If you can time it during the first weeks of March the flowering almond trees should be in full bloom.
We did this trail perhaps one week too early but we still saw beautiful white and pink shades of colour, and great landscape views.
