PR-A 504 Circular Sierra Hacho Gaucin

Ruta circular alrededor de la Sierra del Hacho. Inicio y final desde gasolinera Gaucín. Sentido de marcha hacia la Alquería.

Sendero pendiente de homologación definitiva.

El Sendero PR-A 504 Sendero circular de la Sierra del Hacho discurre por una zona de pie de monte de sierra bética de la Serranía de Ronda, su dificultad es media y es apropiada para realizar durante todo el año con niños en el rango de 7-9 años.
La dirección de partida es hacia el oeste, por la falda oriental de la sierra del Hacho y con vistas a su cumbre este. Hasta el kilómetro 2,3 va por el arcén acondicionado de la A-405 a una altitud estable y cercana a los 600 m, pasando por el parque Francisco Serrato (hay una fuente), Breñaverde y el Ventorrillo de San Antonio.
A partir del cruce con la carretera MA-9300 que baja a El Colmenar (Estación de Gaucín) se toma la senda del Camino de los Pilones o de la Alquería, bien acondicionado y que principalmente va en descenso. Se cruza un arroyuelo, el de los Pilones, se deja una casa a la izquierda y después la arboleda es más importante, con alcornoques y encinas de gran porte.
En el punto kilométrico 5,1 se corta la carretera MA-9300 (en su km 4,7) para llegar a la zona de la Herriza y al monte público trazando progresivamente una curva hacia el norte. Se llega a la menor cota del recorrido cuando se contacta con el GR 141 Gran Senda de la Serranía de Ronda (km 6,2 del PR-A 504), se pasa por la fuente de los Carabineros y se asciende al Peso, una zona muy conocida a la que se llega en el km 9.
A partir de aquí la dirección de marcha ya es este. Un trozo de carril cerrado con una cadena lleva a la casa forestal de Zahara y Pasadallana (majadas del Monte Público) y una angarilla da paso a un largo tramo de senda hasta el final. En ascenso hasta las máximas cotas del camino (puerto Blanquillo, de los Torilejos y la era de los Hinojales) se van dejando a la derecha el acceso señalizado con azulejos hacia la ferrata del Hacho y la llegada (km 9,6) y el desvío (km 10,7) de la Variante 504.1 Pico del Hacho. En descenso, se llega al pueblo por el Camino de los Hinojales, que termina en las casas al lado del punto de inicio, cruzando la travesía.


The Track PR-A 504, Sendero circular de la Sierra del Hacho (Circular track of the Sierra del Hacho), passes through the foothills of the Baetic range of the Serranía de Ronda, with medium difficulty, it is feasible for children between 7 and 9 years old all year long. The starting direction runs to the west, through the eastern mountainside of the range of the Hacho, offering a view to its eastern summit. Up to km 2.3, the track runs along the conditioned verge of the A-405 road, at a stable height of near 600 m, crossing the Francisco Serrato park (there is a fountain), Breñaverde and the Ventorrillo de San Antonio.
From the crossing with the MA-9300 road, which leads down to El Colmenar (Estación de Gaucín), you take the path of Camino de los Pilones or la Alquería, well-conditioned and which mainly descends. You cross the small stream of the Pilones, leave a house on the left and afterwards, the grove is more significant, with great leafy cork and holm oaks.
At the milestone km 5.1, you cut through the road MA-9300 at km 4.7 in order to reach the area of the Herriza and the Mount (managed by public administration) drawing progressively a curve to the north. You get to the lower altitude of the journey when you arrive at the GR 141 Gran Senda de la Serranía de Ronda (PR-A 504 km 6.2), you pass by the fountain of the Carabineros and you ascend to the Peso, a very well-known area you reach at km 9.0.
From here on, the walk direction is east. A section of the path closed with a chain leads to the forest house of the Zahara and Pasadallana (folds of the Public Mount). A wicket opens the way for a long stretch of the route until the end. When ascending to the higher altitude of the way (Blanquillo pass, de los Torilejos pass and the treshing floor of the Hinojales), you will leave the access marked with tiles to the via ferrata of the Hacho and the arrival (km 9.6) and the detour (km 10.7) of the Variante 504.1 Pico del Hacho on the right-hand side. If you descend, you will reach the town through the Camino de los Hinojales, which ends at the houses near the starting point, crossing the through road.
