Itinerary description
Este percurso oferece paisagens de grande beleza para quem gosta de longas caminhadas em contacto com a Natureza, permitindo o contacto com o mundo rural e um vasto património natural e cultural.
Iniciando-se junto às barragens, este percurso atravessa uma vasta zona planáltica onde se encontram, predominantemente, áreas baldias cobertas de urzais (Erica spp.) e carqueijais (Pterospartum tridentatum) onde rebanhos de cabras bravias encontram o seu alimento. Nas zonas mais favoráveis aparecem pequenos bosquetes de bétulas (Betula spp.), bem como matas de pinheiro-silvestre ou de casquinha (Pinus sylvestris).
Na zona mais baixa do percurso é possível avistar o monte Farinha com o santuário da Sra. da Graça e os cabeços da ribeira da Teixeira. Pequenos regatos cortam os caminhos precipitando as águas em campos agrícolas junto às aldeias.

This route offers landscapes of great beauty for those who enjoy long walks in contact with nature, allowing contact with the rural world and a vast natural and cultural heritage.
Beginning next to the dams, this route crosses a vast plateau zone where there are predominantly lowland areas covered with heath (Erica spp.) And carqueijais (Pterospartum tridentatum) where herds of wild goats find their food. In the most favorable areas there are small birch groves (Betula spp.), As well as forests of pine or bark (Pinus sylvestris).
In the lower area of the route it is possible to see the Farinha hill with the sanctuary of Mrs. da Graça and the bollards of the Teixeira stream. Small streams cut the paths, precipitating the waters in agricultural fields near the villages.
