Hiked this loop clockwise. Bail out point at Thomas Cooke / SteamBoat ditch intersection is at 5.3 miles.
Elevation gain of 784ft is somewhat understated.. As Trimble Outdoor Navigator software had the distance at 7.3 miles and 1,670 ft elevation gain with 6,035 coordinates recorded.
I am pretty sure that the Wikiloc 784ft number is understated.. and the Trimble's 1,670 ft is overstated.. So. this stat is still a puzzle.
I wonder what a Garmin handheld GPS would record
