Itinerary description
Super well maintained trail. Most of it under a beautiful forest. All of the trail is covered by boardwalks and wooden steps. I counted 3930!!. Hiking poles are not useful as 90% of the trail is made of 4cm wide poles with big space between them.
You don’t see the Egmont Mt until you reach the Pouakai Track, that’s km5,5. Toilet at the car park and in the hut.
