Itinerary description
This trail starts at the Potter Pass trail head at Badger Flat on the Kaiser Pass Road east of Huntington Lake. You will pass by Potter Pass, Lower Twin Lake, Upper Twin Lake and George Lake on well maintained trails. From George Lake to the Kaiser Peak trail it is basically cross country and use trails. We scrambled for the first 1/4 mile out of George Lake. Then we picked up a use trail marked with rock cairns all the way to College Lake. Out of College Lake it might be better to stay a little east of our track. After a few hundred yards, we picked up a poorly marked use trail into the large bowl below the Kaiser Peak trail. Once on the Kaiser Peak trail we were on well developed trail to the summit and down to the the trail head at the D&F Pack Station.
