Itinerary description
First a short stage on the main road. Then a quiet walk through farmland and woods to Azinhoso. Further ahead you'll see the Castle tower of Pena Roia to your right, but the trail doesn't go through the village. Some road walking before the beautiful view of the Castle of Algoso appears to you. The village of Algoso has a nice atmosphere and several interesting sights in addition to the castle, such as a roman bridge and a nice chapel (Santa Anna). From Algoso there is open farmland and some hillwalking to Campo da Viboras. From there some 6-7 km on main road into Vimioso.
