Itinerary description

It's a nice walk uphill into the Serra da Gardunha to wonderful views over the valley. From the top the trail descends down to the little nice village of Alcongosta. From here the trail provides beautiful views of Serra da Estrela. Then it's an easy walk into Fundão. Out of Fundão there is some roadwalking at first, then through farmland to Alcaria and Tortosendo. From Tortosendo I chose the N230, but there is a more scenic option via the Casal da Serra. Ask the locals for information.
