Itinerary description
A walk through farmland with cattle and sheep. Opening and closing gates from Monforte to Assumar. From Assumar to Urra you walk on a quiet paved road, and from Urra to Portalegre on a dirt road. It's a nice walk. The villages have pleasant cafes.
