Itinerary description
There is a bus from Machico (bus terminal) to Ponta de Sao Lourenço almost 1 or 2 hours.
Check the time table first. Take in account that the bus can (and will) leave Sao Lourenço 5 minutes earlier, so be there at time. Cost is plus minus 3,5 euro / each way.
This is a classic trail in Madeira, so there will be lot of people on the trail. Consider starting early.
The cost of the trail is 1 euro that you can only pay (maybe) with an e-phone. No possible to pay cash. No gates, no control.
