Itinerary description
Van het gezellige vissersdorpje Ferragudo wandelen we langs het fort (alleen mogelijk bij laag water) over het strand in de richting van de monding van de Arade. Op het einde van het strand gaan we langs de trappen de kliffen op. We volgen de kliffen voorbij de vuurtoren en dalen af naar het strandcafé van Praia Dos Caneiros. Terug langs dezelfde weg. Pasop voor afbrokkelende kliffen: ga niet te kort bij de rand! Wandeling op 20/06/2012.
From the cozy fishing village Ferragudo we walked along the fort (only possible at low tide) along the beach towards the mouth of the Arade. At the end of the beach go up the stairs to the cliffs. Follow the cliffs passed the lighthouse to descend to the beachcafé of Praia Dos Caneiros. Go back to Ferragudo along the same road. Watch out for crumbling cliffs: do not walk too close to the edge! Walk on 20/06/2012.
