Itinerary description
While the D925 is still closed to traffic in the winter months i took advantage of the early spring weather and walked the route.
from the valley you can still see some snow on the ridges ..i took crampons just in case.
Not needed..the last km of the road had 50% snow coverage , and the plateau of bales was free of snow.
Great walk and have been wanting to do this for a few years.
one small detour or short cut was at the first hairpin..take the forest route up to the cabane saoubette.
