Itinerary description
Beautiful bush walking track alongside two scenic rivers. Start at either end and allow an extra 30min to walk back along the main road to the end you parked your vehicle. The bush track is moderately easy walking with some steep sections over the saddle between the rivers - good walking shoes are a must.
This posted track has a slight detour down to the river at the junction with the Inland Pack Track.
The Punakaiki River is now spanned by a new footbridge so no need to get your feet wet.
