Itinerary description
We woke up at 7 am in Pokara on lake side town and took a taxi to the Zero Point bus station, we paid 400NR, from there we took a bus to Nayapul (200NR and 2h trip). From Nayapul we started trekking:
Night 1: Ulleri
Night 2: Godhe pani(or Gorepani)
Night 3: Gandruk
Guest houses costed from 0 to 800NR. First guest house we stayed in Ulleri (Majestic Hotel) did not charged the stay, only dinner and breakfast. All lodges had heavy blankets, good bads, so we brought our sleeping bags and did not used.
Food is a bit more expensive than pokara, but not too much. Water is expensive if you buy botles, like 100NR 1L, since we drink at leas 4L a day we prefered using aquatabs all journey and it was great, water from mountains is so fresh.
The trail itself is quite visible all the time and even built with stones in a significant part of the way.
Tecnicaly it is too easy all the way, but if you wanna make it in 4 days it is good a certain body preparation. In second day, for example, is all going up, 1200mt, that is why I consider it moderate.
We went on beggining of spring, weather was very confortable, around 20 degrees during the day and 10 at night, we trekked almost all the time wearing short sleeves.
When we were 3km from Nayapul in our way back, a bus straight to Pokara passed and we took it, 300NR only. Acording to what local people told us they have this buses hourly Pokara - Nayapul and vice-versa.
