Itinerary description
This loop begins at Steel Creek Campground & combines portions of the Buffalo River Trail, Chimney Rock Trail, Old River Trail and other horse trails for an approximately 20 mile hike. This track includes about a half mile section of bushwacking due to a missed turn. We took 2 nights & 3 days to complete this hike, with various side trips to check out old homesteads, bluffs, Hemmed in Hollow falls and an old mining site that was on the map. Not all of the side trips are shown on this track.
