Point Lobos is a natural spot located south of Carmel, California, famous for allowing sightings of sea lions. Access with a car costs $ 10, although you could also enter for free.
Our route begins in the parking lot of the park, following a path parallel to the coastal strip. Our intention to see sea lions was totally frustrated, but we enjoyed some very colorful seascapes.
The return to the parking lot was made by the road and, instead of returning, we started a second part through a forest of cypresses, through which you can make a small circular route.
It was a very pleasant surprise, because it is a beautiful tour, both because of the atmosphere created by the cluster of cypress trees in California, and because of the stunning views of the coast. This second part is worth much more than the first.
In addition, when we were arriving back to the parking lot we found ourselves in a corner with a doe with two puppies a few meters from us.
The entire route runs along well-marked dirt trails with very low levels.
