Itinerary description
Pocumtuck Ridge Trail- south sugarloaf to poet's seat tower
Well blazed and not too strenuous. I've marked as moderate more for length than for any kind of technical difficulty.
The one bad part is that between keets rd in deerfield and temple woods on the other side of the river there is a bit of road walking. There were two sets of blazes on keets and I ended up having to cut through someone's yard after following some power lines for a bit. Seems like you're actually supposed to cut through a lumber yard (not visible from the road) to reach tr bridge from one area to the other.
All in all a good day hike through a scenic part of the pioneer valley with a few bord watching oppurtunities on the way.
