Itinerary description
English (castellano debajo) :
There are several routes "clearly" marked depending on the time you want to spend. Just to consider that you don't need all that time to walk, but in our case we were stopping quite a lot. These routes are labeled with letters.
On top of that there are sections which gives you the distance (not the time) from one point to another. These are labelled with numbers and can cover sections from different routes.
However, the numbers are only displayed in a big picture at the entrances and in a couple of other places within the park, so if you plan to follow them, take a picture.
With all that for me it was not extremelly clear whith route I should follow (and I could see other people as well checking the maps).
We started the tour from entrance 1(Rastovača). The parking was 56 Kn for the day (8 €) and the entrance; because it's low season; 150 kn each (check their website as in summer it can increase up to 50% more). https://np-plitvicka-jezera.hr/en/plan-your-visit/price-list/
We decided to walk route K but with modifications depending on the time we had and where we wanted to stop.
There are two clearly different paths. The first one is the one from entrance 1 to 2 and covering as well the big waterfall and it's a wooden trail, super cool and very flat. The "north" part, is still very flat, but it's more as is you were walking in the forest, so more natural. In the first one you will see lots of tourist groups, however, in the second one you can see almost nobody.
The tour includes one trip by boat (from P2 to P3 - entrance 1- is every 30 minutes, takes around 20 and the last one was at 15.00. From P2 to P1 - entrance 2 - is every 10 minutes takes around 3 minutes and the last one is at 16.30).
The whole way is very flat (although no accesible for wheelchairs and would be extremelly difficult if you need a cane. No sticks necesary at all.
During the whole way the views are amazing (even if you have some rain as we did).
If you have the chance, totally worth it.
