A journey through the magnificent PN of Plitvice, a spectacular place that is unforgivable to be lost, despite the crowd that the visit. It is advisable to go there early in the morning.
The park recommends following certain itineraries, depending on the time you want to walk. All of them are well signposted and very good on wooden planks.
We followed the itinerary H, for which they foresee 5-6 h, from the entrance 2. It prefers to visit all the upper and lower lakes, but doing a part of the route in transport. First of all you have to take an articulated bus (called "train") to climb the highest part of the upper lakes; The path follows them all downhill, to a point where a boat that crosses a large lake to the lower part is taken. After going through the lower lakes to the great waterfall, follow a short climb until the bus stop, which returns to the starting point.
