We park in the Nova Pec car park and head out along the road, towards Plesne Jezero. This first section is asphalt, until we reach the first intersection, where we stop following the indications to avoid the entire asphalt section and do so on tracks and paths through the forest.
To do this, at this first intersection we take a left following a track, until further on there is another on the right. We follow it and it becomes a path, which leads us to join the paved road ahead.
Once we join the road, we follow it for a few km, until the turnoff for Plesne Jezero. On the way we passed a shelter. On this detour, we will leave the slopes and enter the Natural Park.
After a slightly ascending section, we reach another intersection where we will turn off and go through the one on the left and then return through the one on the right. So we stop following the signs for Plesne Jezero and take those for Plechy/Plockenstein.
From this point is where the hard part of the route begins, where the ramps begin and do not relax until the top. In its first part the climb is through the forest, but then it disappears and large stones appear. In the final part we also enter Austrian territory.
Once we reached the top, we decided to follow the path that comes from the Austrian side to reach Trojmezi, the point where the 3 countries meet, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic. You will have to go and return through the same place, since the only way to go down to Plesne Jezero is from the top.
After returning, to go down to Plesne Jezero, it will be worth following the indications to it, a path that goes down through the forest, with some viewpoints along the way.
Once at Plesne Jezero, we took the opportunity to eat and to return it will be enough to follow the signs to Nova Pec. We will reconnect with the way we came, so to return we use the same path. In order not to do everything the same, we make a small detour in the final part.
