Itinerary description
Beautiful and rather easy hike from Plan Mason (first section from Breuil-Cervinia) to Lake Goillet. There are some steep parts both downwards as upwards, but just take it calmly and there will be no problem.
From Lake Goillet, you follow the road (ski pist path num 65)) down to the crossroad with path num 18. Follow it on a fun path along an old rail, they used to build both lake (dam) of Goillet as the pumpstation of Les Perreres. In 2000 the also used to take the Pope Giovanni Paolo II to visit the Cross of Giovanni Paolo II and the little Capellette of Saint Anna.
When you get to the next crossroad just follow path 107 (Gran Balconata del Cervino) down to Lake Bleu.
You can stop here and take a bus to Breuil-Cervinia (takes 20 min by foot) or the bus down to Valtournenche . I did it by foot : 6km D- 400 mt and it takes between 1h and 1h 30 min.
