Itinerary description
From Planbuit train station, go down a bit and follow the path parallel to the train tracks towards Exergillod. Climb towards Hauta Crêta and follow for a while for Le Chamossaire. Though on a steep path you'll turn right off the path for Le Chamossaire, towards Les Ecovets.
You'll hit a road twice but always leave it again soon.
Stay on a little educational path over Chesières and then follow for Villars train station.
Easy in good conditions, but difficult at heights over 1'250m in this middle of november with snow.
