Itinerary description
Place Fell from Patterdale YHA, returning via the Ullswater Way. The path to Low Birk Fell may be on the OS map but it’s pretty much non-existent - all bogs and ferns, at least in late summer. Either stay to the high craggy ground and follow the ridge line or take the path toward High Dod instead, and then turn north toward Ullswater.
