Itinerary description

To Jalisco's second highest peak: beautiful forest, amazing view!

From the Casa Ejidal in San Miguel Cuyutlan to the peak of Cerro Bola del Viejo, following a steep, rocky dirt road maintained so firefighters can get up the mountain. So, you can walk, drive or cycle up, as you like!

Go to the Casa Ejidal to get a guide and permission to use the road.

    Hola Santiago,
    Nosotros pasamos todo el día en la subida y bajada, pero es porque nos paramos varias veces en sitios bonitos...y un buen rato en el pico. A ver como te va. ¡Buena suerte!

    In 2014 a rugged 4WD could do it. Just check with the local people to see if it is still the same.
