Itinerary description
One of the nicest short routes in Pilion. Versatile, aesthetic, historical. Most of it flows across stonepaths, which where the true and only (no roads back then) diodes of everyday transport of people, goods and animals. The rest goes through forests, dry fields, olive trees, tiny villages, an explosive combination of nature, present and history.
some parts are blocked by vines, which where cleared on 14 07 2018.
can be done in less than 2hours if you walk vividly, without much stopping.
a small cutter and gloves can be useful to clean the path to help ourselves and others.
hour: in summer, start from kalamos at 18:00, you will walk into the magnifiscent pagasitikos sunset when returning. a bit earlier if you want to take a swim or two in the splendid beaches.
water: 1/2 a liter, you can refill at argalasti, no springs on the way.
hint: on the first waypoint/crossroad (big blue sign) after argalasti you can keep right for a few metres, then go left in the field and follow the natural trails between the woods, if you want to avoid the dirt road. trails between trees are visible in the satelite map.

Très beau parcours parmi les champs d'oliviers à l'aller puis dans les bois au retour. Le chemin côtier est magnifique avec quelques criques et autres plages. Randonnée à faire
