Datos de Interés:

Este sendero solamente se puede hacer con un Guía de excursiones, para esto se requiere previa reserva en la sala de excursiones dentro del Hotel Nothofagus.

Comienzan al interior del hotel pasan por recepción, montaña mágica y luego estacionamiento principal, después se sigue por un camino de tierra para luego llegar hasta el famoso puente colgante de Huilo-Huilo.

Desde ahí comienza la excursión hacia la derecha, una pequeña subida elevación de Aprox unos 30 mts, uno de los hitos importantes es un mirador en donde se aprecia una hermosa vista hacia el hotel principal, el teleférico y abajo con el gran salto La Leona

Siguen el sendero para hacer ingreso al bosque tupido templado lluvioso en donde se aprecian las distintas especies que lo componen, luego llegan a una quebrada en la cual se puede hacer una parada para contemplar el bosque y tomar un aliento, siguiendo con la otra mitad del sendero ya en este llevamos Aprox. 1,30 Hrs.

La segunda sección del sendero comienza con un bosque de olivillos la que contrasta con la primera parte de nuestra excursión, comenzamos a retornar por el circuito en donde llegamos nuevamente al puente colgante.
Desde ahí son aproximadamente unos 15 minutos mas caminando al Hotel.

Datos de Seguridad y recomendaciones:

Para este sendero se recomienda ir con un calzado cómodo cerrado con buena suela con buen agarre por el terreno irregular, ropa cómoda y abrigada de secado rápido, linterna, ademas de un botiquín simple, 1 litro de agua por persona.

General Tips:

This trail can only be done with an excursion guide, for this a reservation is required in the excursion room inside the Hotel Nothofagus.

Start inside the hotel pass by reception, magical mountain and then main parking, then continue on a dirt road and then reach the famous suspension bridge Huilo-Huilo.

From there begins the excursion to the right, a small rise of Approx about 30 meters, one of the important landmarks is a viewpoint where you can see a beautiful view of the main hotel, the cable car and down with the great jump La Leona

Follow the path to enter the dense temperate rain forest where you can see the different species that make it up, then come to a stream where you can make a stop to see the forest and take a breath, continuing with the other half of the path already in this we have Approx. 1.30 Hrs.

The second section of the trail begins with a forest of olivillos which contrasts with the first part of our excursion, we begin to return by the circuit where we arrive again at the suspension bridge.
From there it is approximately 15 minutes more walking to the Hotel.

Tips of Safety:

For this trail it is recommended to go with a comfortable closed footwear with good sole with good grip on the uneven terrain, comfortable and warm clothes, quick drying, flashlight, in addition to a simple first aid kit, 1 liter of water per person
