Itinerary description
Short and easy track to the top of Pidurangula rock. It is located a few km away from the Sigiriya rock and it offers great views of this amazing site.
Trip starts crossing a small budist temple, where you’ll have to remove your shoes and cover your knees and shoulders. 500 LKR need to be paid in order to access to the path.
After climbing steps for about 15 minutes, you will reach a lying Buddha. After that, it’s only a matter of following the arrows to the top. You might need to crawl in the last steps of the path, below a giant rock. After that, it’s only a matter of enjoying the view!
Going up and down should not take more than 40 minutes, we stayed for a while on top in order to take millions of pictures.
