Itinerary description
Hiking Pico do Areeiro halfway to Pico Ruiva. The most difficult but stunning hike of the island. As weather forecasts rain for later this week we decided to kick off with the most difficult hike. It was simply stunning with amazing views, cloud covered mountains and sheer cliffs and drop offs, and steep endless stairs up and down.
