Itinerary description
A nice trekking that can be done without guide. The view is amazing and it is a good trekking for acclimatation.
The only problem is to go there because there is no public transportation. You can either take a taxi or organise a transportation with one of the agencies in La Paz (what we did), or go by bus and walk something like 25 km to the beginning of the track, where you can camp.
The track could be dangerous if there is snow on the slope. In case of snow, you should better go along the laguna.

The walk is not too long and very accessible from La Paz.
The scenery is amazing at the top, with the view on the summits, the Lago Titicaca...
What agency did you use to hire a transport?
I'm sorry it was a long time ago. I don't remember but I don't think it was an agency.
