Mount
Apo has different routes. This one shows you the Digos-Kapatagan-route.
Mount Apo has 3 peaks. This track starts from Peak 2 (highest point), via Peak 3 and Peak 1 to Kapatagan village.
The track is easy to find, has no technical difficulties.
Permit and guide are mandatory by law, porter is optional. You have to request the permit in advance, inclusive showing a medical certificate.

Normally you climb it in 2 days. In one day or any extension is also possible.
Costs:
- Davao - Digos, public transport, 2 hours: 2 us$/single
- Digos - Kapatagan (trail head), Motorbike, 1 hour: 10 us$/single
- Permit fee: 20 us$
- Guide: 20 us$/day, minimum 2 days
- optional Porter: 10 us$/day, minimum 2 days
There are some accommodation on the way to Kapatagan.
