We, a group of friends hike up from Nahela Dam in Ras al Khaimah to the top of Yibir mountain summit of the Comstel tower.
Then we descended to Wadi Naqab via Tallah and Baqal villages.
This is basically a one way hike, but the unconnected part can be driven along through an offroad section.
So we parked cars at both ends.
We parked cars at the Baqal village hike trail start point somewhere here. This location is also the end point of the hike.
Even Sedans can manage this offroad section as the road is well made.

We parked the cars and started the hike from Nahela Dam, just before Wadi Naqab area.

The trail starts and goes along the famous Baqal Caves, but doesn't reach the caves. The trail goes straight away and then gradually ascends left towards the mountain and finally reaches the Yibir plateau near Tallah village.
This section has some flat Wadi section of big/ small polished boulders, steep ascent section, loose rocks in few places and traversing through a bit tricky mountain pass, although it is not difficult.
You just need to know the general direction to move towards.
Once we reached the Plateau, we touched the Yibir offroad.
We decided to extend our plan and reach the Yibir Comtel tower as our summit. We hiked up via a nice Rocky Wadi, which almost has nice natural steps all over the Wadi.
The Wadi directly touches the Tower.
The tower summit is one of the 3 highest points of the Yibir mountain section, after Mebrah and Yibir itself.
Later we descended towards Tallah village via the mountain surface and from Tallah we walked through less used trail towards Baqal village.
There is also a well walked trail from Tallah to Baqal, but we didnt use that trail.
From Baqal village we followed the well known trail of the washed out road to Wadi Naqab, where we had parked our cars.
From Tallah village to Naqab it is a fully well laid trail and you can not get lost.
Both the villages are functional with many residents, so please be discreet in your actions and behaviour in the villages. Take all the trash with you.

Is this baqal caves trail, the 5th photo is exactly the baqal caves trail start point.
For baqal caves after the 5yh photo we have to go left turn.
Is this trail we have to go straight
Hello Meer,
Please note the following text in this post.
"The trail starts and goes "along" the famous Baqal Caves, but doesn't reach the caves. The trail goes straight away and then gradually ascends left towards the mountain and finally reaches the Yibir plateau near Tallah village."
This is NOT Baqal / Nahela caves hike.
That hike is separately recorded and posted on my profile.
