Itinerary description

Starting from the parking lot next to Glafko spring (better know to locals as 'Tavernes Glafkou' where the restaurants are). Following an old and very well know path in the Petroto forest/hill. Close to the top of the hill an alternative new path was open by local hiking club and it followed all the way down to the Glafko dam (an electric source for the city). Then next to the river (lots of water this time of the year) until small bridge (waypoint) to get to the other side. Short section on asphalt from Souli village, in order to get to another new path traversing under steep hill looking over the Glafko river (great views to the city). Then connecting to known path descending from Pournarokastro village back to the Glafko parking to the starting point.

Awesome new paths and great overall loop. Demanding on some steep climbs and descents in the first 4-5k of the hike.
