We were able to take this great trail only because Victor’s post existed. Thank you victor. I am posting our trip only from Chachapoyas to the Collacruz ruins along the Chachapoyas pre-Inca trail. I recommend to all to try this day hike who come near Chachapoyas.

I walked this trek this week, but only a part of it. I took a colectivo (5 soles) from Chachapoyas to Levanto plaza de armas (you should ask the tourist office to call the driver and ask him when he leaves because there is no timetable). Then I walked from the plaza de Armas until the end of the path, when you reach the road and the village of El Molino. There I stopped a colectivo to go back to Chachapoyas (2 soles).

The walk is nice and easy. Not breathtaking views but good views of the town of Chachapoyas. The way is easy to follow. I would just recommend not to go if it rained a lot the days before (as I did) because the path would become very muddy.

Thank you Victor for sharing !
