Itinerary description
Start this walk at the viewpoint outside Peristerona on the road to Lysos. Head back down to Peristerona and at the phonebox in the village turn left and head towards Tremithousa. After about 200m the road forks and you take the left road.
This route does not take you into Tremithousa but it is only a short distance to the abandoned village if you want to go and see it.
It is a steady climb down to Tremithousa, then obviously a climb back up to Filousa and from there back to the starting point.
There is no shade or shelter on this walk, so all the usual care needed with water, sunscreen, hats &c. Takes just over 2 hours and is about 8km.

Scenery
Moderate
Brilliant walk, amazing scenery from start to finish. Starts and ends on a main road but no traffic. Climbs are steady but worth for the views. Particularly liked Filousa can imagine it as busy once but now quiet. Great views of the dam and hills beyond and of the sea at times. Used the map as there are a few different trail signs in peristerona . Would definitely recommend.
