Itinerary description

Do yourself a favour and try this 10km (one way) walk from Peregian Beach to Sunshine Beach next time you are in the area. We started our walk from the Surf Club and headed north along Kingfisher Dr. Our trail soon took us down to the gorgeous sandy beach. You obviously could just follow the beach all the way to Sunshne Beach. We walked 2.5km along then exited over the sand dunes and back to the concrete path at Marcus Beach. On a hot day the trees beside the path give some protection from the heat. The whole way along the walk you will get plenty of glimpses of the ocean and beaches. Its particularly interesting when the path takes you down and over Burgess Creek, just past Castaway Beach. You'll find it an easy walk as there are no big hills and before you know it, you will be at the finish point at Sunshine Beach Surf Club.
