Itinerary description
Kayaking/Paddleboarding from Perast to Lepetane followed by a trek over Vrmac to Muo.
An easy walk, following a broad path 70% of the way.
I recommend using a GPS for the first part of the trail, from Lepetane as there are many crossing paths along until you reach the first waypoint. From there you start walking along a wide Austro-Hungarian road which is really easy to follow.
I recommend taking the detour to Sveti Ilija (the one I took) for the panoramic views of the bay.
The descent from Vrmac down to Muo is also relatively easy and straight forward. Follow the signs (or GPS) to get off the road and get on the descending path. From there straight down to Muo.
Summary: The walk is easy to do and relatively uneventful. Nice views of the bay from Sveti Ilija are the highlight. The walk can be done all year around. As you can see I did it in high summer, in mid day - fairly hot but enough shade along the trail.
Things to take: GPS!!, plenty of water if you are doing it in summer (2l min), some food (snacks), walking boots, long trousers (the path is overgrown at certain parts - very few), sun block, hat, sunglasses.
Have fun and please respect the nature and leave no rubbish behind :)
