Itinerary description
A short loop starting in Penafiel.
The highest elevation of the route is at the Anta da Santa Marta (Dolmen de Portela), a megalithic structure that is believed to have been constructed approximately 5,000 years ago.
This is not a very scenic route, but its short distance and moderate elevation change made it a suitable route to take my grandson for a walk.
