Itinerary description
Aπό το βενζινάδικο στην είσοδο του Προμυρίου βαδίζουμε στην πλατεία και περνούμε αμέσως πάνω από την εκκλησία (Κοίμηση της Θεοτόκου). Συνεχίζουμε κατηφορίζοντας για αρκετή ώρα σε αγροτικό δρόμο και μετά σε μονοπάτι ακολουθώντας το ρέμα και φθάνουμε στον οικισμό της Λύρης. Αφού βαδίσουμε για 800 μ. στην άσφαλτο, ξαναμπαίνουμε δεξιά σε αγροτικό δρόμο- καλντερίμι-μονοπάτι και φθάνουμε σε τρείς ώρες στην παραλία του Κατηγιώργη. Σήμανση με κόκκινα σημάδια και στρογγυλά πινακιδάκια. Η επιστροφή (από Κατηγιώργη προς Προμύρι) μπορεί να γίνει με το λεωφορείο ΚΤΕΛ στις 15.15. Starting from the gas station at the entrance of Promiri, we pass by the square, then past the church. After exiting the village, we continue on earth road going downhill. A large gorge is on our right side. Reaching down the streambed, we leave the road and continue on earth path following the course of the stream, until we get to the settlement of Liri. After a 800 m. section on the asphalt, we leave it to the right, and walk on earth road and earth path, to arrive at the beach of Katigiorgis in three hours total time. Signed with red paint and round yellow signs. We can return from Katigiorgis to Promiri by the 15.15' bus daily.

Το κομμάτι Προμυρι - Λυρη είναι πανέμορφο και ανοιχτό. Το κομμάτι από τη Λυρη στο Κατηγιωργη είναι κλειστό και είναι δύσκολο να το περάσεις χωρίς μαχαίρι για να κόβεις αγριόχορτα. Από τη Λυρη ίσως έχει περισσότερο νοημα κάποιος να ακολουθησει την άσφαλτο για να βγει Κατηγιωργη.
